"We", "us" and "our" mean the above. "You" means the person using Puzzitive.

These Terms are the agreement between you and us for the Puzzitive mobile app and the puzzitive.com website. By using Puzzitive you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.

Our Privacy Policy explains what we do with your personal data. It is not part of this agreement, but you should read it.

We write these Terms to be readable. Nothing in them takes away rights that the law where you live gives you and does not allow us to remove — in particular consumer rights.

You must be at least 13 years old. Where the law where you live sets a higher age for a service like this, or for us to rely on your consent to process your data, that higher age applies to you instead — 16 in some countries in Europe.

Puzzitive is not designed for or directed at children. If you are under the age required where you live, do not use it.

If you use Puzzitive on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you may bind it to these Terms.

Puzzitive is a jigsaw puzzle game. You can:

• play puzzles made from our own picture library, at any piece count we offer;
• create a picture by describing it in words, or by giving the app one of your own photos as a reference, and then play that picture as a puzzle;
• keep the pictures you make in your collection, download them, and share them yourself.

Every picture in Puzzitive is made by artificial intelligence. That includes the pictures in our own library, the ones everybody can play without generating anything. None of them is a photograph or a drawing by a human artist.

Creating your own pictures runs on our servers, so it needs an internet connection. Downloaded puzzles play offline.

Creating pictures costs credits. You get credits when you start, you can buy more, you can earn them by choosing to watch an ad, and a subscription includes a regular allowance. A subscription also removes the ads we show you and lets you play puzzles you have already downloaded without an internet connection. Everything else in the app works without a subscription.

We may add, change or remove features, but only for a reason we can point to: to keep Puzzitive secure and working, to comply with the law, to replace a provider or a technology we no longer use, or to make the app better. A change never costs you anything extra. If we remove something you paid for, the section "If we change or end the service" says what happens.

You can use Puzzitive as a guest or sign in with Apple, Google or Facebook. There is no password to remember, and we never ask you to create one.

Please read this if you play as a guest. A guest account is tied to a key stored on the device you are using. It is not tied to your name or email. That means:

• your account and everything in it, including credits you bought, live on that device;
• if you delete the app, reset the device, or lose it, we generally cannot give the account back to you, because we have no way to tell that it was yours;
• signing in with Apple, Google or Facebook links the account to something you can prove, and is the only way to move it to a new device.

We are not able to restore a guest account we cannot identify. If your credits matter to you, link the account.

You are responsible for what happens through your account and for keeping your device secure. Tell us at once if you think someone else is using it.

You can delete your account at any time, in the app at Settings → your name → Delete Account or on the web at puzzitive.com/account. Read "Ending this agreement" first if you have a subscription.

How you pay. Everything you buy in Puzzitive is sold through the Apple App Store or Google Play, using their payment systems, under their terms as well as ours. We never see your card details. We cannot process payments ourselves and we do not ask you to pay anywhere else.

Before you buy, the app shows you the price in your currency, what you get, and, for a subscription, how long each period is and that it renews automatically.

Credits. Credits are a licence to use a feature inside Puzzitive. They have no value outside the app, cannot be exchanged for money, and cannot be transferred to another person or account. Credits you have bought do not expire and stay in your balance for as long as your account exists. Credits you earn from ads or receive with a subscription are added on the terms shown to you at the time; once they are in your balance they do not expire either, but a subscription's regular allowance stops when the subscription does.

Subscriptions renew automatically. Your subscription renews for the same period and price until you cancel it. The store charges you within 24 hours before each period starts.

How to cancel. Cancel in the App Store or Google Play account settings, at least 24 hours before the period ends. Deleting the app or your Puzzitive account does not cancel a subscription; only the store can.

Price changes. If we change the price of a subscription, the store tells you in advance and asks for your agreement where its rules require it. You can always cancel instead.

Refunds are handled by Apple and Google under their own policies, because they took the payment. Only Apple can refund an App Store purchase; a Google Play purchase we can also refund ourselves through Google Play. If something went wrong on our side — you were charged and did not get what you paid for — write to us. We can put credits back into your balance, which is the fastest fix for most cases, and we will help you take a refund request to the store where that is the right answer instead.

If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase of digital content. Every purchase in Puzzitive is made through the App Store or Google Play, so it is the store's checkout that handles that right, and a withdrawal request goes to the store rather than to us. We do not ask you to give the right up, and nothing in these Terms takes it away. Credits reach your balance as soon as the store confirms the payment. Whatever the answer on withdrawal, your rights if what you received was faulty or not as described are unaffected, and you can always write to us.

Watching an ad for credits is always optional. If you choose to, we credit your balance after an automated check confirms the ad was actually watched. We cannot always confirm it — an ad network can fail, a network connection can drop — and where confirmation does not arrive, no credits are added. This is not a lottery or a game of chance: what you get for watching is fixed and known in advance.

Ads are supplied by advertising networks, not by us. We limit ad content to a rating suitable for a teen audience. Subscribers are shown no ads, though the optional reward ads stay available to them if they choose to watch one.

How it works. You describe a picture, or give the app one of your photos as a reference, and an AI model produces an image. The model runs at a provider we use; the Privacy Policy explains exactly what is sent and how long it is kept.

You are responsible for what you ask for. Do not describe or upload anything you do not have the right to use, and do not try to produce anything the rules below prohibit.

Reference photos. Only upload a photo you took or otherwise have the right to use. If it shows another person, make sure you may use their image that way — and never upload a photo of a child for generation.

What you get is not guaranteed. AI output varies. It may not match what you imagined, it may contain mistakes, and someone else asking for something similar may receive something similar. We do not promise that a generated picture is original, that it is free of anyone else's rights, or that it is suitable for any particular purpose, including commercial use.

How pictures are marked. Every picture Puzzitive produces carries machine-readable information inside the file recording that it was generated by AI. Wherever we can, we also sign the file with our own time-stamped Content Credentials, and where the model provider attached its own signed credentials we keep them: untouched on the original, and nested inside our signature on the full-size copy we make from it. This is information inside the file, not a visible mark on the picture, and you can check it yourself — how to check a picture explains how, with any tool that reads Content Credentials or image metadata. It can be lost: services that re-encode a picture, such as social networks and messengers, usually strip it, and a screenshot never carries it. If you want the marking to reach somebody intact, send the file as a file rather than as a photo. Once the marking has been stripped we cannot restore it. You must not remove or alter it yourself — see the rules below.

You are responsible for what you ask us to make. You choose the words and the reference photo, so the picture that comes back is your request. You promise not to use Puzzitive to produce anything that copies a character, logo, design, style signature or other protected work belonging to somebody else, and not to publish, sell or otherwise commercially exploit such a picture. This matters most with famous characters and brands: a picture that imitates one can infringe somebody's rights even though you generated it yourself.

When a picture resembles something. A generated picture is built from your description, not copied from any particular source, and we do not aim it at any existing character, work or person. Even so, an AI model can produce something that resembles one — sometimes because the description asked for it, sometimes without anyone intending it. Nobody can promise that this will never happen. If what you get looks like somebody's character, somebody's brand or somebody's face, treat it as theirs rather than yours: do not publish it, sell it, or present it as original.

What our checks do and do not tell you. Every request passes automated checks before and after generation, and some are refused. Those checks look for the content these Terms prohibit. They do not, and could not, work out whether a picture resembles a work somebody else owns. So a picture being produced is never us confirming that it is free of other people's rights — that judgement stays with you, and it is why the paragraph above matters.

If a rights holder objects. If you own rights and believe a picture infringes them — one made with Puzzitive by a user, or one in our own picture library — write to draw.without.borders@gmail.com with enough detail to identify the work and where it appears. We look at such notices promptly and remove or disable access to anything we should, and we tell the person who made the picture what happened.

Who owns it. As between you and us, the pictures you generate are yours, to the extent the law allows anyone to own them. Bear in mind that in several countries a purely machine-generated image may not attract copyright at all. You give us permission to store, process, display and moderate your pictures so that we can run the service for you, and for no other purpose. We do not use them to train models, and we do not sell them.

Our providers' rules apply too. The model behind generation is operated under Google's Generative AI Prohibited Use Policy, and the provider that runs it for us applies its own Acceptable Use Policy. Your use must comply with both as well as with the rules below.

Do not use Puzzitive to create, upload, request or attempt to request anything that:

• sexualises a child in any way, or depicts a minor in a sexual or abusive context — there is no exception to this and it is the one thing we report to the authorities;
• is sexually explicit, or is intended to be sexually gratifying;
• depicts extreme or gratuitous violence, gore, cruelty, or promotes self-harm or suicide;
• attacks or demeans people because of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, age, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, caste, immigration status or any comparable characteristic;
• harasses, bullies, threatens or defames a real person, or depicts a real, identifiable person in a false or degrading way;
• infringes someone's copyright, trademark, likeness or other rights;
• is designed to deceive — forged documents, fake identification, fraudulent material, or content designed to mislead people about who said or did something;
• promotes terrorism or violent extremism, weapons manufacture, or illegal drugs;
• breaks the law where you are.

Also do not:

• reverse-engineer, decompile or tamper with the app, or attempt to bypass its safety filters, except to the extent the law gives you a right we cannot take away, or use automated means to access the service;
• use another person's account, sell or transfer your own, or try to obtain credits other than through the ways the app offers;
• interfere with the service, its security, or other people's use of it;
• remove, alter or obscure information that identifies a picture as AI-generated, or present a generated picture as not made with AI;
• use Puzzitive to build or train a competing model or service.

We operate a zero-tolerance policy for the content in the first list and for people who abuse others.

When a picture is generated, a report control appears with it, and using it attaches the picture's reference for you. You can also report anything at any later time through the support form in the app, through the form at puzzitive.com/support, which works without an account, or by writing to draw.without.borders@gmail.com. Tell us what you saw and where, and do not send us the content itself.

Puzzitive has no feed, no comments, no messaging and no way for one user to see another user's pictures inside the app, so the only pictures you can see are our own picture library and the pictures you generated yourself. That is why there is no blocking feature: there is nobody to block. If that ever changes, so will this section.

What we do. Content is filtered automatically before and after generation, so prohibited requests are refused rather than produced. When you report something, we confirm that we received it, and a person reads it. We aim to look at reports of illegal content or sexual content involving minors within 24 hours, and at everything else without undue delay, and we reply to you by email.

Your pictures stay under your control. No other user can see the pictures in your collection, and you can delete any of them, or your whole account, at any time. For 30 days after you make a picture, we can see it, and the description you typed, in our own internal tools, which we use to answer support requests and to keep the service safe. After that, the copy we can reach is deleted automatically. Where the law requires it, we report content to the authorities.

Misuse of reporting. If someone repeatedly sends us reports that are obviously unfounded, we may stop processing their reports for a reasonable period, after warning them.

Yours. The photos you upload are yours, and so are the pictures you generate, to the extent explained in "Creating pictures with artificial intelligence". Completing a puzzle made from our picture library does not give you rights in that picture. The permission you give us is limited to running the service for you, as described above, and it ends when you delete the content or your account, apart from copies in backups that roll off on their own. Puzzitive is not a backup service: keep your own copies of anything you would miss, because deleting a picture or your account removes it for good.

Ours. Puzzitive itself — the app, the picture library, the artwork, the interface, the name and the logo — belongs to us or to the people who licensed it to us. Our picture library is generated by artificial intelligence, so the same caveat applies to it as to your own generations: in several countries a purely machine-made image may attract no copyright at all. Whatever rights do exist in it are ours, and either way the library is ours to run. The same goes for resemblance: these pictures are made the same way as yours, from descriptions we write, and we do not aim them at any existing character, work or person. We look at the pictures before they go into the library, and we take one out as soon as we learn that it resembles somebody's protected work. You may use all of this inside the app, for yourself, and not otherwise. Do not copy it, resell it, or pass it off as your own.

Open-source components. Puzzitive includes open-source software. The notices and licence texts are published in full at puzzitive.com/licenses.

If you think we have infringed your rights, write to draw.without.borders@gmail.com with enough detail to identify the work and where it appears, and we will act promptly.

Puzzitive relies on other companies — the app stores, sign-in providers, our hosting, our generation provider and advertising networks. Their own terms apply to what they do, and we are not responsible for their services. The Privacy Policy lists who they are and what they receive.

We work to keep Puzzitive available, but we do not promise that it will always be. We may take it down for maintenance, and we try to tell you in advance in the app when we plan to.

We supply the updates Puzzitive needs to keep working as these Terms describe, security updates included, for as long as we offer it, and we tell you when one matters. We may require you to install an update, for example when an old version no longer works safely with our servers. If you do not install it, parts of the app may stop working.

Some features need an internet connection: creating pictures always does.

We may change Puzzitive, and we may stop offering it. If we stop offering it altogether, or remove a paid feature you still have credits or an active subscription for, we will tell you in advance where we reasonably can, stop charging you, and refund what you have paid for and not received, to the extent the law requires. Refunds for store purchases go through Apple or Google.

You can stop using Puzzitive at any time, and delete your account in the app or on the web.

Cancel your subscription first. Deleting your account does not cancel it; only the App Store or Google Play can, and billing continues until you do.

We may end this agreement if you seriously break these Terms or if the law requires us to. If we end it without good reason, we refund what you paid for and did not receive.

Deleting your account deletes your credits. They are not refundable, except where the law says otherwise.

Puzzitive is provided as it is. Beyond what these Terms say and what the law requires, we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, that generated pictures will meet your expectations, or that it fits a particular purpose of yours.

If you are a consumer, your legal guarantees are unaffected: if what we provide is faulty or not as described, you keep every remedy the law where you live gives you.

We are liable to you for loss we cause by breaking this agreement or by failing to use reasonable care, where that loss is a foreseeable result of what we did.

We are not liable for loss that was not foreseeable, for business losses such as lost profit or lost opportunity, or for loss caused by something outside our reasonable control.

Where a limit is permitted at all, our total liability for everything connected with Puzzitive is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event, or 50 euro.

Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, for intent or gross negligence, or for anything else that the law does not allow us to limit — including, if you are a consumer in Poland or elsewhere in the European Union, your mandatory consumer rights.

If you are in Australia, our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies those guarantees or any remedy you have for their failure, and the limits above do not apply to them.

If you are in New Zealand, nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 where you acquire Puzzitive as a consumer.

If you are using Puzzitive for business purposes rather than as a consumer, you agree to cover our reasonable losses, including legal costs, arising from your breach of these Terms or from content you created with the app. This does not apply to consumers.

These Terms are governed by Polish law. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in your own country's courts.

Before going to court, please write to us: most things are resolved in an email.

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you can also get help outside the courts. In Poland, the municipal or district consumer ombudsman (miejski lub powiatowy rzecznik konsumentów) advises consumers free of charge, and the Trade Inspection (Inspekcja Handlowa, https://www.uokik.gov.pl) offers mediation and arbitration, which go ahead only if both sides agree to take part. We are not obliged to take part in out-of-court dispute resolution and we do not undertake to do so, but we will always try to settle things with you directly first. The European Commission's online dispute resolution platform closed in July 2025 and is no longer available.

If you are not a consumer, the courts of Poland have exclusive jurisdiction.

If you downloaded Puzzitive from the Apple App Store:

• this agreement is between you and us alone, not with Apple, and we, not Apple, are responsible for Puzzitive and its content;
• we give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use Puzzitive on any Apple-branded device you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, except that it may also be used by other accounts associated with you through Family Sharing or volume purchasing;
• Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for Puzzitive;
• if Puzzitive fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may tell Apple, which will refund the purchase price; beyond that, Apple has no warranty obligation for Puzzitive, and any other claims are our responsibility;
• Apple is not responsible for handling claims about Puzzitive, including product liability, legal-compliance and consumer-protection claims, or for a third-party claim that Puzzitive infringes intellectual property rights;
• you confirm that you are not in a country subject to a United States embargo or designated as terrorist-supporting, and that you are not on any United States list of prohibited or restricted parties;
• you must comply with any third-party terms that apply when you use Puzzitive;
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this agreement and may enforce it against you.

If you downloaded Puzzitive from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service apply to your download and purchases in addition to this agreement. Google is not a party to this agreement and is not responsible for Puzzitive.

We may change these Terms — for example when the law changes, when we add a feature, or when a provider changes. We publish a new version, and where the change matters to you, the app asks you to read and accept it before you continue. If you do not accept it, you can stop using Puzzitive and delete your account.

Each published version carries its own number and date.

If part of these Terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest stays in force.

If we do not enforce something straight away, we do not lose the right to enforce it later.

You may not transfer your rights under this agreement. We may transfer ours if our business is transferred, and never in a way that reduces your rights.

These Terms, together with anything shown to you at the moment of a purchase, are the whole agreement between us about Puzzitive.

We publish these Terms in several languages. The translations are made from the English text, and a translation can still read differently from the original.

The English version is the one we wrote and the one that governs, except where the law where you live requires otherwise; in Quebec, the French version is the one that binds you. But you will never be worse off for reading these Terms in your own language: if a translation gives you more than the English version does, you keep what the translation gives you. If you find a translation that reads wrongly, tell us and we will correct it.
