How does the AI puzzle generator work?

You type what you want to see - "a lighthouse in a storm at dusk", "a market street in Kyoto in spring" - and the AI produces a 4K image from that description. Nothing is picked from a stock library; the image is generated for your prompt. Once it appears, you choose a piece count anywhere from 2 to 1,000 and start solving. The finished image stays yours to download.

Can I generate a puzzle from my own photo?

Yes, and this is the mode most people underuse. Instead of describing a scene from scratch, give the AI one of your own photos as a reference and it will generate a new image based on it. A holiday snapshot becomes a watercolour, a portrait becomes a pixel-art scene. You can also skip generation entirely and play the photo exactly as it is.

What if the first result is not quite right?

Regenerate. Puzzitive is built around iteration rather than one-shot luck: keep the parts you like, change the prompt, switch to a different art style, and generate again. Each pass is fast, and every image you keep is saved to your library at full 4K.

What art styles are available?

More than 40, including watercolour, oil painting, pencil sketch, pixel art, cyberpunk neon, anime, Van Gogh and Monet. Styles apply to AI-generated images, to your own photos, and to the curated collections - so the same source image can become several completely different puzzles.

Does the AI generator cost money?

The app and all 1,500+ curated 4K images are free. AI generation runs on credits you buy, and you only buy as many as you actually use - you can also generate at 2K rather than 4K when the puzzle does not need the extra detail. There is no required subscription, and no ad ever interrupts a puzzle you are solving: on the free plan a single short ad plays before a puzzle opens, and a subscription removes even that.

Questions answered

Is this an AI puzzle solver?

No. Puzzitive creates puzzles for you to solve yourself - it does not solve physical or digital puzzles from a photo. If you are looking for something to finish a jigsaw for you, this is not that app.

Who owns the images the AI generates?

You do. Download the full-resolution file, share it, print it. There is no watermark, and the images stay yours whether or not you keep playing.

Can I generate images offline?

No - generation runs on our servers, so it needs a connection. Once an image is generated and the puzzle is downloaded, the subscription lets you solve it with no connection at all.
