On the free plan one short ad plays before a puzzle opens - that is what pays for the servers - and none at all once you are solving. AI image generation runs on credits: buy only the ones you use. There is also an optional subscription that removes ads entirely - it is never required to play.

One short ad plays before a puzzle opens on the free plan, and that is the whole of it - running the servers costs money, and this is how a free game pays for them. Nothing interrupts the puzzle itself: no banner strip across the board, no scrolling ad feed, nothing that appears mid-solve and nothing when you finish. The board is yours alone. Every paid subscription removes ads entirely.

Offline play comes with the subscription, and it is a proper offline mode rather than a half one. Download the puzzles you want while you have WiFi - a few before a flight or a long drive - and they play in full with no connection at all, airplane mode included, with hints, zoom and progress saving intact. AI image generation always needs a connection, because it runs on our servers.

Type any text prompt and the AI generates a unique image in about 20–30 seconds. You choose the resolution on any plan: 2K is quick and perfectly sharp when you are playing larger pieces, and 4K is the one to pick from roughly 300 pieces upward, where you spend the session zoomed in and every piece has to hold its own detail. You can also give it one of your own photos as a reference and have it generate a new image based on that. Then apply any of 40+ art styles, or regenerate to refine the result until you are happy with it.

Yes, and not only by changing the piece count. Difficulty levels set how precisely a piece has to line up before it snaps into place: at the forgiving end it clicks home as soon as it is near, which is what you want on a phone, with tired eyes, or with a grandchild sitting next to you, and at the strict end you place every piece exactly. You also choose the background the pieces sit on, so you can tune the contrast against your own image and read the picture comfortably instead of fighting the board.

The curated catalogue plays in 2K on the free plan, and a subscription unlocks the same images in 4K. An AI generation is your own call whatever plan you are on: you pick 2K or 4K each time you generate, and the higher the piece count the more the extra detail earns its keep. Whichever you end up with, you can download the full-resolution file to your device or share it straight to social media from the app.

You do. Anything you generate in Puzzitive is yours to download, share, print or reuse. We do not put a watermark on it and we do not take it away if you stop playing.

No. Install the app and play - there is no sign-up screen, and everything works without an account: the curated collections, your own photos, AI generation, purchases and the subscription. Your puzzles and progress are saved on your phone as you go, and your purchases and subscription are kept on our servers. The one thing an account adds is a backup: until you link one, deleting the app deletes your progress with it. Link Google or Facebook - or Apple on iPhone and iPad - at any moment, and everything you have so far moves to that account in full.

It is built for relaxed play: no timers, no leaderboards, no pressure. Start at a handful of large pieces, zoom in as far as you like, and set the difficulty so that a piece snaps into place as soon as it is close rather than demanding a precise drop. Turn hints on when you want them, switch to a night theme, and choose a board background whose contrast suits the image you are solving.

The app interface is available in 18 languages, including English, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, German, French, Italian, Arabic, Polish, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Belarusian, Russian, Hebrew, Turkish, Ukrainian and Korean.

Your photos, generated images and progress are transferred over encrypted connections and stored securely. We do not sell your personal data. Full details are in our privacy policy.

Cancel in your App Store or Google Play account settings, at least 24 hours before the period ends - deleting the app or your Puzzitive account does not cancel a subscription, only the store can. Refunds are handled by Apple and Google, because they took the payment and we never see your card details. If you were charged and did not get what you paid for, write to us: we cannot issue a store refund ourselves, but we will help you sort it out and put right anything that was our fault.
